It's a Boy!!

Swampy is hosting a Virtual Baby Shower for Karmyn over at Dreaming What Ifs, who is due to have her baby boy on May 23rd. I'm mostly a lurker over at Karmyn's blog, but I love reading her posts, and thought, what better time to "out" myself then at her baby shower?

The thing is, I don't have any kids. Therefore, I'm the "cool auntie" sort. You know, the one who shows up to the birthday parties and give the kid the drumset, or the super duper talking robot, or any other noise making or completely inappropriate toy. Because I can. Because I figure whenever it comes time for me to have my baby, they'll all have forgotten the torture I inflicted upon them. (Yeah, I know, probably not, but hey, it's fun now).

So, I figured, why not keep my streak going with this shower?

First of all, every baby should have a VIP shirt, don't you think? (Click on the photos for additional information on any of these gifts)

Then, what's a VIP baby without a nice pair of shoes? And of course, every baby needs a ride:
And for those moments when baby isn't all smiles:

YOU REALLY must click on that photo...just as incentive, this is the "Baby Shiloh 3 Carat White Diamond Pacifier" - Price tag: $17,000. Thank goodness this is just a virtual shower.
Karmyn, I hope you and the baby enjoy all the blingy gifts. But more importantly I just want to wish you and your family all the best with this new baby boy. Congratulations!!!

Is that pacifier the new silver spoon supplement? Personally I like the shoes, they are way cool!

For the record I have five kids and I am still the fun Aunty round here! I am always making noise, mud pies and paint with my nephew! Nothing better than making music with kids!

Yeah, I looked like that when I pushed my babies along in their $9.99 umbrella strollers...I did. I really did...long blonde hair and all.

Lurv the binky. Now that adds a "wholenother" meaning to "Where's my binky?"

The shoes are the greatest. Wonder if they come in a size 6 1/2?
Thanks for attending the shower and bringing all the fabulous gifts.

Wow - that is some serious Baby Bling. I wonder if anyone seriously owns that pacifier! (some shek's wife in Saudia Arabia?).

Too cool, Auntie Karina!

My kids lost their binks as quickly as I could buy them. That would have to be chained to a bed post or something.

(We laugh about that binky, but really I can't imagine that. I just can't)

Drum sets? ....yes dear, I suspect if you ever have children there is going to be a lot of getting even. ha ha ha

I LOVE the golden shoes! Beautiful virtual gifts, Karina. Fun to shop when the sky's the limit, eh?

By the way, I've tagged you for a Six Things Meme.

Boy, I'd spit the dummy if I had to pay seventeen grand for a pacifier.

(you might have to google 'spit the dummy', it's an aussie expression)
