The calm before the storm (and a request for your help)

Whew...yesterday was quite the blog day for me. I had no idea hosting Fun Monday would turn into such a serious responsibility for me. Don't get me wrong, I LOVED hosting, and thank you all for letting me host, but with my slightly OCD personality, as the hostess, I felt I had to be sure to visit EACH and EVERY participant, and comment (and make sure my comments meant something), so I was a busy busy bee.

Glad I got that out of the way, so that now I can concentrate on NaBloPoMo and NaNoWriMo...imagine if I'd volunteered to host during the month of November? Whew...dodged that bullet! haha...

Yes, you read that right, I'm doing NaBloPoMo an NaNoWriMo BOTH, as well as working full time, attempting to have some sort of a social life, and continuing to visit my favorite bloggers, AND keep in touch with all my other friends that I only communicate with online...oh, and keep track of my other addiction, Fall TV, as well. And then there's Thanksgiving, Christmas shopping, my new found interest in football, cleaning the house, sleeping...Good GOD what was I thinking?

But see, this is me, overachiever. I always have that need to do as much as I can at any one time, because life is short, and I want to LIVE IT.

So, I'm going for it...the worst that can happen? I won't complete NaNoWriMo, but hey, even if I don't, at least I'll focus more on writing something that I have been in past years, and that'll be an accomplishment in and of itself. I'm not so concerned about NaBloPoMo, because I already post daily, with the exception of weekends, so I'll just have to add 2 posts per week...I can handle that.

But I am going to ask for your help here. My friend Sognatrice has done this on her blog twice now, with much success, so I'm stealing borrowing her idea. I'm going to ask you to ask me any questions at all you might have about me or my life. I will answer almost anything within reason, and who knows, you might spark up a memory and get a story out of it. And this will give me some fodder for November blog posts. So, please in the comments, leave me your questions, and I will have them all answered by the end of next month.

Finally, if you are participating in NaBloPoMo, please click on the button in my right sidebar and lets be friends. I don't really know how the NaNoWriMo site works...I haven't spent nearly enough time there to figure it out, so if you're participating in that one...uh...let me know, and I'll come visit and say hello.

Well, I have to get some work done (as I am actually AT WORK), so get to questioning, will ya? ;-)

You'll do fine! You'll be busy, but you'll do just great.

Questions...uh...I can think of a few questions...maybe I should email them to you because I don't want to appear any more like a doof than I already do.

Ah what the heck...

Tell us about your earliest memory in the USA, not in the USA.

Heard from Lawboy lately? Does he still have a girlfriend? Have you ever called/text Lawboy? Ok, we all know I'm obsessed with Lawboy...let's just move on.

I really can think of LOTS of topics for you.

Remember...I'm the proofreader person for the novel. I know there is an official name for that....I just can't think of it.

Karina - I'm so sorry I signed up for Fun Monday and then flaked out. But you know, it's clusterfuck city over here.

So SORRY!

And good luck on NaBloPoMo - we're in it together dollface.

Hi Karina - I'm stopping by via SheWhoBlogs...

Right off the bat I noticed your header photo because I have an almost identical photo of my toes in the sand! Sometimes it appears in my sidebar, usually in the winter when I load it up with beach photos to get my mind off the cold.

So my question for you is, what is the background on that photo? Who? What? Where? When? Don't bother with Why? -- I mean, duh -- it's a beach. Why not?

Well it was nice knowing you, but I'm thinking you'll get so busy you'll bury yourself in busy, never to be seen again ;-0

If you never had to worry about money, how would you spend your time?

What are your thoughts on the lottery?

What are some of your earliest memories of shoe shopping / shoes?

If you were driving in your car, by yourself, with the windows rolled up, just rocking out to your music, and suddenly you were stung by a bee right in your jugular, what would you do?

Would you be more, or less, stressed out if cell phones didn't exist?

If you could be famous and super talented in any of the performing arts, which would you choose?

Oh, I have tons, so if you need more just ask! :P

Tell me about a time you got really mad. It doesn't have to be yelling at anybody, I mean it can if that's what you want to share, but it can be that someone made you so mad you stuck your head in a pillow and screamed your lungs out.

Like a good cry, I'm a firm believer you have to 'get things out' and let them free and sometimes shouting to the rooftops does a body good :o)

I was OCD when I was hostess, too. But it was just tooo much fun.

Now for November, you have a lot to chew there. I unofficially particpated in NaBloPoMo last year and missed ONE day. IT was insane.

I'll try to come up with some questions and return with them.

I'm doing NaNoWriMo for the second time and was considering doing NaNoBloMo as well, since last year, I totally neglected my blog during Novemeber. But I'm under a huge deadline at work, have another pressing project out there waiting for me, and am going on holiday from 20-30, so I just didn't think I could manage it all. Best of luck to you. Stock up on the coffee and RedBull, you're going to need it. :)

PS - My NaNo user name is AnnScanlan.

Yeah! Questions! Um...

What's your favorite childhood memory?

If you could only eat three foods for the rest of your life, which three would you choose?

Same question, but with beverages?

What is the best gift you've ever received?

There may be more....

You are banished to a deserted island. What 1 food would you take with you? What drink? (mine is easy, chips and salsa and wine!)

I liked jannis' question, but I want to make it harder. If you were banished to a desert island and you could only take one of three things, what would it be:

1. A Bible
2. A case of tequila
3. Johnny Depp

..oh and what do you know of the reconstruction of the economy in post-revolutionary France?
